WRITING MOTHERS

We'll read three essays on mother figures and unpack what's happening, what you see or don't see in terms of form, voice and relationship.  After each discussion I'll lead you through a writing prompt, and you'll have the opportunity to put to page what the word mother brings up for you.  There will be (optional) time at the end to share what you've written with the group.  You will leave the workshop with the bones for your own personal essay on mothers, motherhood, mothering, or the like.
